Notarial Act (Each): $10.00

Notarial Acts allowed in Arizona are: Acknowledgment, Jurat or Certified Copy and are notarized by an Arizona commissioned notary. We can also administer oaths.

Our contracted notaries have annual background checks, are bonded, carry errors and omissions insurance, are members of the National Notary Association. Our team members include certified as Signing Agents.

AZ Roving Notary pays its contracted mobile notaries the state regulated fee of $10.00 per notarial act. (A.R.S. §§ 41-316)

A Mobile Notarial Act includes all or some of the following on a Signer Provided State Approved Notarial Certificate:

DOCUMENT SUBMISSION POLICY:

Option #1: Signer should have all documents printed in advanced and at the signing location ready for notariztaion.
Option #2: Signer can have documents sent to the notary via UPS or FedEx with a tracking number to arrive at the notary at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session.
Option #3: Signer can email or upload the documents in a PDF or Word Document to the notary for printing (cost of printing not included in the state regulated notary fee.)

The State of Arizona commissions notaries to perform only these six notarial acts (ARS 41-251(6)(b):

Acknowledgement or Jurat
Oath or Affirmation
Copy Certification or Attestation (Not available on RON platforms at this time)
Taking a verification on an oath or affirmation
Witnessing or Attesting a signature
Noting a protest of a negotiable instrument

The State of Arizona (A.R.S. §§ 41-316) regulates notarial fees that may be charged for the six notarial acts. At the AZRN agency, we pay all of our notaries the maximum state regulated fee of $10.00/stamp(act) or if the notary is commissioned in a different state - the notary will be paid their respective state regulated rates. The State of Arizona does not allow notaries to charge a service or administrative charge. The definition of a service/administration charge is as follows:
A Service or Administrative Charge is a flat or percentage-based charge assessed for engaging the services of a notary agency, separate from and in addition to any specific notarial act or other non-notarial work provided. A service or administrative charge reflects the value of accessing the agency's expertise, systems, scheduling infrastructure, insurance, and general business operations.
